How to get over sadness from an anime? I've had this problem for a while.... I've watched anime and when they end (sad or sometimes not) I always get depressed. I cry for hours and this lasts about two to three months of the crying. Sometimes it lasts more than other times. I can show happiness when I'm happy, but it still wallows inside of me all the time. Code Geass, Fullmetal Alchemist, Loveless, etc I just watched the end of Code Geass and can't get better.... is this normal? do a lot of people feel this way?

Anime like Pretear and Sailor Moon? I'm looking for a great anime like Sailor Moon and Pretear. Any suggestions? Below is what I liked so much about them - please make suggestions based on that. Thanks!!! Sailor Moon is my all time favorite because it has so many beautiful messages and relationships - most of all the role of love in the show - how that was the source of the greatest power, Sailor Moon's, and how with that great love she didn't destroy her enemies but helped them return to life and happiness. I liked Pretear for similar reasons. Like Usagi, Himeno has a great love for everyone. Because of that she empathized and was able to understand, help and save everyone - and it was eventually - she grew by her love to be able to do that - just like in Sailor Moon except they didn't make her as stupid. And her ending was great, that that power was entirely hers (not given by others) and she sacrificed her life for it and they all felt bad and then she lived. And I loved the stuff about loneliness.

What do you think of one piece (anime/manga)? I myself love it. It'd idiotic, crude, unrealistic, hilarious, intense. I questioned whether I should give it a chance at first because of the animation, but then I thought " Wouldn't it be stupid to miss out on a anime that could be awesome just because of the art it's portrayed in?" I don't get bored watching it, It's probably one of those series that you cant help but wanna watch over anime over. Well at least for me it is. BTW, I only watch subs. Guro art, helps me- something wrong? I love anime-style art and have spent many earned dollars on art supplies etc. It is an alternate activity to game playing or work when I want to forget about things that frustrate me. Anyways, I seem to enjoy most the guro style art. However, It's not exactly lost limbs, intestines hanging out, etc....it's stuff like self-injury aftermath, seppuku, write-slitting, etc. I dont know why I prefer this kind of art; I am not a violent person generally. I do, however, like to make a lot of emotion expressed in my art, and almost all of my projects feature dissapointed, sad, scared, or eerily satisfied characters. I have mood-swings between hard depression and anxiety to positive excitement and happiness. It is through this sort of art that I seem to vent my frustrations and struggles regarding this, but it still doesnt explain to me why I just dont like other forms of art as much as this. Anyone able to answer my question? Is my focus really that awful?

I dropped out of high school recently. Im 16, and I got a full time job. Nowwwww what....? It's weird because I LOVE my full time job as a sales associate at a populat clothing store, but i get paid minimum wage. I also moved out on my own - rent is 600 a month with everything included - the roomates treat me as family, cooks me food, helped me find job, let me use computer, tv, EVERYTHING, and i couldnt be happier. I often hear that the quality of life depends on your happiness, but if i get a higher paying job after i go ack to school (or get a GED), and go to university or colledge, will i be happier? I dont really know what kind of proffesional job I want. I NEVER want to be a medical person such as doctor, nurse, dentist, etc,. and I dont want to be a accountant or.... a graphic designer (even though i am EXCELLENT at drawing realism and anime)....... I want to know what i want to do with my life. should i stay a full time sales associate? or eventually go back to school and get a high paying job? and the thing is, i do poorly in school. i rather just go shopping and sit and do NOTHING than do homework or study. I've always wanted to open my own business in the foods industry, but i dont want a post seconday education. it wasts time in my opinion. hm........... look, i didnt check over my grammer cause i was typing fast on the computer. im actually perfect at english. Oh, i forgot to mention the reason for leaving my high school. I actually dont know, but I was abused by my parents ALOT so the social workers had to get involved, police, and the school principle, and I ran away to a different city! and I couldnt go back to school, cause I need to work full time to support my rent........... I know running away is "bad" people might tell me, but I'm happy this way. Look, I'm HAPPY!! I couldnt be happier, and if i didnt run away, i would have been sad and depressed. Of course living on my own has some stress here and there, but it beats all of my bad pasts.
