Why world unity should take higher priority than peace, prosperity and happiness in all human endeaveours?

In our daily life, we think much of attaining peace, prosperity and happiness, and rarely think of world unity. Perhaps we consider it as impossible, because human thinking is so diverse. But, in reality, since last century, we have got miraculous instruments which broke down geological, cultural, and even psychological barriers. And we realize that without global cooperation, we cannot solve various problems now and in the future. So, how do you think about the necessity and possibility of the unity of the human race?

2. Chaos always precedes community! The history of man is closer I think , to community than ever before. I just hope we don't pollute our playground before we achieve our goal!
3. Right! World unity will bring about peace. World unity depends on tolerance ... we are all human ... no intolerance should be allowed. Every human should be treated with dignity and equality ... but, you know " Do unto others" So we must stand against stupidity while remaining tolerant and understanding of other cultures and thoughts.
