How about a better, more sustainable life without the illegals to clean your house and mow your lawn?
The pro-illegals kept saying that without the work of these illegals, the U.S. would not be able to function. Any one with a brain could see how untrue it is, but if we look at the way many American citizens live and work today, it's not too hard to see that the dependency on cheap illegal labor is also the excuses for companies, communities, even the states to not take on the inevitabble transition to a more sustainable way of living. Take a closer look at the spending/consumption patterns of the majority of people, you can see how wasteful and unnecessary people spend their money(likely on things they can live without). What the need for cheap illegal household help(landscape, maids, nannies) really shows, is not how much we need the illegals to clean our houses or mow our lawns, it really shows how far away many are from a normal, wholesome, balanced family life. whoever voted down Turtle is legal, is, like many of the chest-pounding, lie-spewing, arrogant, illegal Mexicans on this site, a certifieble MORON!!! Spazz, one doesn't have to be "rich, stuckup, white" to not want to do a lawn mowing job for $2 an hour. It has nothing to do with what color or race you are. It simply is because $2 an hour is not a livable wage for any self respecting citizen.

- Don't have them and don't need them.
- Uh ok so get rid of the illegals I get it so what is your question exactly
- Who were doing these jobs and still are before the illegals? Yes, Americans! Cheap labor is for the cheap people. Both should be terminated!
- It is funny that the bleeding heart liberals like Kennedy and such that do not do cut their own yards or clean their own toilets are the ones that want to grant amnesty, do you think they too are looking for cheap labor
- My husband mows our lawn (he's legal and of Irish descent, but American first!). I clean our house (I'm legal and of several non-hispanic descents, and American first!). I am the "nanny" of our children. We work opposite schedules so we can take care of our own children and not create more expenses by having daycare. We shop at discount stores and at thrift stores (found some awesome deals there!) We prepare three meals a day and healthy snacks throughout each day. My husband and I are both in college, so may can continue to contribute to our children's lives and our society. We may not have completely balanced, healthy lives, but we sure do stride towards that goal. EDIT: to "Spass" I dont' know who you are but OMG you are FUNNY!!!!! I added you to my contacts ... no I didn't ... you're not accepting any :(

- American citizen[this generation] feels a sense of entitlement how many rich stuck up mexicans want to do lawn work for $2 an hour? have you ever seen my super sweet 16? It was great. Me as a stuck up mexican would never do anything less than $1.00 per hour.
