5. A. No matter how much they are told that pesticides are harmful to humans and the environment, farmers still use them because they help keep the bugs off their product better than natural means.

11. I would have to say A would be true of pesticide use. I come from a rural farm community and a lot of times for crops to suceed they need to use pesticides. Now this isn't true of all farmers but there are quite a few out there that use them because it makes their crops more sucessful than others.
