  1. The keys to a successful restaurant business are: 1. Location, location, location. 2. A lot of advertising 3. Prices- not too high, not too low 4. Excellent employees (so pay them well & keep them happy) 5. Your niche, your theme, what makes you special and unique and enjoyable
  2. I do not think that is the way it is done. You cannot buy the keys to a successful restaurant. You either start one on your own or just buy one outright.
  3. good service and price should be normal
  4. Always remember you are manufacturing a product (meals) and that product must be attractively packaged and priced for the target market.
  5. 1. Know your market and provide something that customers like but can't get at every competitors' restaurant. If there are already ten pizzerias in your community, opening another pizzeria probably won't work. The market is probably saturated. 2. Location. Lots of drive--by and foot traffic always help. No one will show up if no one knows that you're there. 3. Keep it clean, clean, and clean. 4. Price your product according to what the local market will bear and the quality of the food. You can have high prices if you have gourmet food and there is a local market for it. If you're opening lots of cans and microwaving stuff, make sure that your costs are very low so that you can charge very low prices. There is a market for cheap, mediocre cooking in most cities. However, customers will not pay a hefty price for it. 5. Watch your costs and your cash flow very carefully. 6. Have sufficient capital to carry you through the first year or two when you may be losing money. It takes time to establish a regular clientele. Few companies are profitable from day one. Most small business failures occur because the owners did not plan realistically and ran out of money.
  6. Restaurants as they say that Name Sells restaurants are always a good business but the problem is one has to maintain it. Ups and Downs are part of the business cycle so one should not lose hope and patience it is the secret or key for success for any business.
