What qualities do you need to be a successful mortgage broker?

Thinking about going into this business. I want to know what personal qualities and characteristics one needs to be successful in this field.

1. Patience. Dealing with tons of people each day and having nothing to show for it. Putting in lots of work and not getting paid... If you have patience though you might stick with it long enough to become pretty good at it.
