I am interested in becoming a real estate agent. Any pointers?

I have just started my courses required to begin the process. I was wondering if there were any successful agents that could give my advice on the direction I should go.

1. Go talk to the firm in town that you'd be most interested in working for. Many firms host real estate agent classes, and at the very least, they should have more information about the exams. Also, while you're there, see if you can meet with one of the more experienced realtors and ask them any questions you have about the field. Also, see if they're willing to mentor you, or if the firm offers any internships. Tons of people get real estate licenses every year - the ones that get hired are the ones that know people.
