How do I change the name listed beside the little happy face on yahoo messenger?

1. With Messenger open, click on "Messenger." Click on "My Contact Details." Change the name in the first box to what you want to display in Messenger.
2. a) Edit contact details and fill in the Nickname area with whatever floats your boat. b) Go into preferences and select item that says "Display Nickname".
3. •Click on Messenger -> My Contact Details: nickname (you can put whatever you like whenever you want on there) •Be sure to clear any other boxes that show your ID, first name, last name or anything else you don't want displayed. •Click "Save & Close" Hope it helps, Kisses
