spiritually speaking: why do my avatar is a squared happy face?

what happened to my pics? and why do i have this happy face instead the gray silouette of a guy which appears when you don't have any picture? does anyone know what's happening?

1. Your regular pic comes up when your question comes up to me to answer (after I've clicked on your question), but we've all got these stupid looking new happy faces while our question's in the line-up...whaddup wit dat???
2. I see your pic and I think Y! 360 is taking a beating. My thing randomly shows a really old 360 pic.
