What were some companies and industries who achieved success during the Great Depression?

I'm working on a project for school and was wondering which, if any, companies and industries made a profit or achieved success during the Great Depression of the 1930's

1. ALCOHOL -after the repeal of the Volstead Act (1933) - the resulting mass-intoxication cured the Nation's Depression.
2. Hollywood is a good example.
