How do you be happy with your body while your losing massive weight?
I was 238 at the begining of this year, I am now 200. My goal is 145-160 so I am about a year away (hopefully less) I know everyone says be happy, but how can I be happy until I reach my goal? I feel like people have been kind but I know the dating world is hard for non stick figures.

- You should be happy you are doing so well. 38 pounds is a big accomplishment! Keep working at it, and you'll be there soon enough. Good luck!
- Be happy you've come this far. Be happy that you are no longer 238, and so don't have 38 extra pounds to lose on top of the 40 or 55 you want to lose Be happy that you're actually working towards a goal that will be realized by this time next year. Be happy that you are you. Any person who is looking for a 'stick figure' will most likely not be happy with a smart, sensititve person like yourself. Those people tend to only be interested in the outside and if that is where their interest lays, they will be sorely disappointed when the 'stick figure' either loses interest, or loses their figure.
- I know everyone tells you that you should feel good about yourself and the fact is many people dont but the more you loose the less happy you become trust me as long as your healthy you probly look great i felt 2 fat lost like 3st and the boys didnt call me to fat anymore but 2 skinny how frustraiting grrr! so i lernt im not doing it 4 me 2 be happy but for everyone else but good luck with healthy weight loss :D merry xmas xxxxxxxxxx
- omg, look at all you've achieved!! that's crazy! how can you not feel better about yourself with that?
- First, congrats on the weight loss!Continue like this and you'll reach your goal. But while you stilld didnt reach it,just tell yourself you will, cause I know you really will! And be happy by remembering that you were even heavier than this and you've come a long way. "dating world"har for non stick figures?!WRONG! Dating,as long as you're talking about good dating doesnt have anything to do with weight,a nice guy should not care about your weight, but about whats inside, and I'm sure loads of men would love to have you as a girlfriend. But since you'll feel more confident with a healthy weight, and so will your partner if he cares about your health(wich he should),just be patient and you'll have that nice body you've been dremaing of,and before reaching the "stick"figure you'll feel so good and realise that there is no such thing as "stick looking girls are luckier",and you'll surely find your perfect dating mate!(if you still haven't before the whole weight loss)
- be happy with the progress you have made.
