Has anyone had success growing tomatoes in a big pot? If so, were there any special things you did?

- No intergalactic science here stake the plant when tall enough prune to give good growth and lots of sun, did i mention lots of sun(use peat moss in the soil and clay pot is best it's porous)
- Make sure you start with clean pots with plenty of drainage.Use 1/2 good quality potting mix and Grow Mulch.Add a small amount of Epsom salt to that. Plant the tomatoes, one plant to a pot and water thoroughly and frequently.Don't smoke around them if you smoke,or let anyone else that smokes around them. That causes tobacco virus. Use Miracle grow once a month and you'll have to use cages for them.Keep in full sun.We grow Tomatoes like this every year.
- I used a big plastic pot with drain holes. I put rocks in the bottom of the pot and then top soil mixed with one bag of potting soil and some tree litter, i.,e., crumpled up tree leaves. I used cherry tomatoe plants and placed it in a sunny location. I had lots of cherry tomatoes.
