what am i supposed to say when someone says happy birthday?

its on facebook and myspace... so todays my birthday and i got loads of messages saying 'happy birthday' and im tired of saying 'thanks!' so what should i say instead?

1. Instead of getting sick of saying thank you, you should feel happy that so many people took the time to wish you a happy birthday.

7. You could just accept them without commenting- with it being such a large network of people I certainly wouldn't expect a thank you!! Or, maybe you could post a general "thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday" type post.

10. If you feel it's burdensome to thank everyone don't post it on facebook and myspace. It's as simple as that. You asked for it, you got it. Now make nice.
11. How about saying "Thanks, I appreciate that! And when your birthday rolls around, I sincerely hope YOU have a very Happy Birthday as well! Because with 16,438,356 people on the planet celebrating a birthday every single day, there still aren't enough people saying Happy Birthday!" Or not. Up to you.

17. if you can see them tomorrow there is no need to say thank you on facebook if you dont see them tomorrow say thanks.
