How do you say Happy Birthday in Tagalog?

I lost my pocket tagalog/english dictionary & it's my friends birthday & I wanna tell her Happy Birthday in her own language I forgot how to say it

2. Tell her "Maligayang Kaarawan"!!! But sometimes in the Philippines, they don't say that but they say "Happy Birthday" instead. I don't really know why.
3. maligayang kaarawan or maligayang bati but yeah, happy birthday is more popularly used than its tagalog equivalent.
