What are some good happy bands (happy lyrics)?

I want to know of some bands with happy lyrics, because the majority of bands have lyrics about angst, depressing stuff, etc. Anyone know of any happy bands?

1. look to the bands of the past like in the '70's and '80's. You can surely find 'fun' and 'happy' lyrics back there, as well as some from present day music.

4. Bowling for Soup - definitely happy. The Fratellis- upbeat songs, not always happy but they're great to listen to, they're not "emo," they're rock.

8. Keller Williams, G Love and the Special Sauce, Arrested Development, Greatful Dead, The Rolling Stones, Dispatch, Phish, Journey, Weezer, Del, O.A.R., Guster, Ben Lee, Wolf Parade, De La Soul.
9. The Beatles, of course. Most of their songs are very happy. Alot of Ska bands like: Less Than Jake - Alot of uplifting and catchy tunes. Reel Big Fish - EVERYBODY'S DOING THE FISH! YEAH, YEAH, YEAH! The Aquabats - Most of their songs are really stupid (like the band, The Presidents of the United States of America), like singing about Pool Parties and Pizza Day, but hey, atleast they're not singing about breaking up with their girlfriend,or suicide. Sublime - Most of their songs revolve around pot, but hey, pots happy, right? So if you're into Ska sounding stuff, I suggest you check those bands out. There's also Bloodhound Gang, if you like perverted lyrics. You should also check out Ramones and The Clash - Good shiit right there. Oh! And The Offspring. Alot of their songs are really happy and fun. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Weezer, because... they're awesome. Um... yeah. There are tons. You just have to look. There's also fun songs like 'Stacy's Mom' by Fountain of Waynes, 'Fat Lip' by Sum 41, 'I Was Born A Unicorn' by The Unicorns (hell yeah), 'Tall Cans in the Air' by Transplants (best song ever), 'Hot Topic is Not Punk Rock' and 'Signing Emo' by MC Lars, 'Cadillac' by Mest, and 'I Like It' by Sammie... don't ask about that last one! And if none of those songs work, you can always just listen to Disney. =] Edit: I almost forgot about Hellogoodbye. They have a more techno sound about them. I suggest 'Shimmy Shimmy Quater Turn' for sure - their best song, and it's really happy. Blink-182, too. Oh, and Descendents! The Cure and The Smiths are good too... Test Icicles, Tenacious D, Say Anything, OK Go, Mindless Self Indulgence, American Hi-Fi, Older Green Day, Le Tigre, Beck, Paramore.... Ugh, I have so many! Seriously, if you want anymore, just ask.
