- There were 2 theme songs for Happy Days. The first was Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley & His Comets, which was part of the soundtrack for American Graffiti. Then they made their own which would not have been in any films.
- "Rock Around the Clock" is most famous for being the first rock 'n' roll song used in a movie. It is played during opening credits of "Blackboard Jungle" and "American Graffiti". Those are the only ones I know about and vividly recall, being a Baby Boomer. But, I don't know if it or the "Happy Days" theme are used elsewhere. I'll look around.
- Lol Happy Days was a television sitcom in the 1970's. It should still be in syndication somewhere. All about Happy Days: Http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Days As far as I know the theme song was only used for the show. I know it wasn't used in American Graffiti because the theme song for that movie was "Rock around the Clock.
- american graffiti, blackboard jungle
- I personally remember first hearing that "rock around the clock" song on Karate Kid Part I or II....they are in some bar dancing or something and that stupid song is playing...maybe you heard it there
