1. It's not necessarily the answer to a happy life. Sure it can contribute to a good and happy life but it is not needed to reach complete happiness. Happiness can be different things to people. One person may reach complete happiness when they become rich or they can reach complete happiness when they know they've lived a successful life. There is no one answer to a happy life. The person themself decides what a happy life is.
2. The Bible has an interesting quotes about the source of joy and happines, and here is one favourite: "Do not grieve, for the JOY of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV) But it also mentions the "temporary" happiness we can achieve with money, a job, etc (except having someone to love, unless you <<worship>> that person), saying about it that: - It is limited to this life (Psalms 17:14) - It is short (Job 20:5) - It is uncertain (Luke 12:20) - It is vain (Ecclesiastes 2:1) - It Leads to sorrow (Proberbs 14:13) - Etc, etc. Hope this quotes are useful! And remember: if the answer to a happy life is love, then that answer is Jesus, who loved us so much that he unconditionally died for my sins, and your sins, while we were still spitting on his face and were his enemies.
