If you find damage to wheel cover after a service?

I had my tires rotated, balanced, and air pressure checked at BJs for free just today as part of the life-time servicing after buying tires from them. I found cracks on scratched on my front wheel covers after coming home today. I think the earliest I can go back to BJs is on coming Friday. Do you have advice for contesting this kind of issue? Will making scenes be necessary? THe cracks and scratches on the wheel cover doesn't affect driveability of the car, and is not highly noticeable, but still looks bad.

  1. as big as possible. .call them now and tell them the problem and when you will be in to correct the problem..
  2. if there just hubcaps then i would just ask them if they can get you a new one from somewhere but dont say they broke it, they dont cost much and to make a scene over a little things like that will piss them off, my uncle owns an auto shop thta ive worked in several years things happen with hubcaps there accidents and there nothing major, no need to cause a stink it just makes us pissed, now if it was something like the motor running like shit or the transmission tore up do to there work then i'd raise hell, but a scratched hubcap, if it bothers you too much just replace it, you can probably get a new one for around 30 dollars depending on the car and stuff. but just tell them you noticed it after you had your tires rotated your not sure if they did it or you did and you would like to get a new one. dont put them on the defensive
