How do you make your business successful in The Sims 2 Open for business? Help ASAP!!! Desperate!!!?
All that happens to me there are lose money paying employees, seeing my employees go somewhere else, seeing my costumers unhappy and losing my business stars. My business currently is a restaurant and a mini mart selling clothes, games, magazines, and cellphones. So how do I turn a falling middling merchant into a very successful, money earning, business?

- First of all, start small. It sounds like you are trying to do too many things at once. You do not NEED employees to start your business, so what I usually do is start a small shop first, build my reputation, earn some stars then hire some employees. Talk to all the customers that come onto the lot. This keeps them happy and improves the score. Build your sales talents and keep your shelves stocked. Be sure to have an area for your sim to keep their needs up or they will be too slow when it comes time to ring up your customers. Personally, I would probably wall off the restaurant portion right now and concentrate on the store. Once you have built a good reputation and have reliable simoleans coming in, then re-open the restaurant and work on that. Or concentrate on the restaurant and wait on the mini mart. (I think restaurant is one of the hardest businesses to maintain as it's the only one you NEED employees for to keep everyone happy and fed) Good luck! :)
- Make sure that you put things in your store that your customers and employees will like, also make sure that if your employees have talent badges make sure that u assign them jobs that refer to ther talent badges and make sure that u give them brakes and that they switch off with the jobs
