How can I be successful and make 6 figures running my own business?

I started my own real estate business 6 months ago and it's doing descent, but my goal was to make $300K my 1st year. I know others have done it and I'm smarter than they are. Can anybody who is already financially succesful give me some advice? (Please only reply if you have positive things to say.)

1. Keep doing what you are doing....and don't set limits on yourself.
2. Hey, The first thing to consider is should you, in the real estate business, start your own Co. I know you already have but you can make a great deal of money working with another broker. Your business depends on contacts, there is never a day you are not working, there is never a person who is not a potential customer or lead or referral. As with any business owner you must be in business all the time. Treat everyone like your business depends on them. Its really all about people telling other people about you.
