1. There were some items in high school that I could honestly state helped me in my future career in business. There were the few social activities that I was forced into that forced me to "mingle" with people, learning how to do the sparse but effective "small talk". Also during high school I was forced to do good grades while working full-time, which taught me how to be responsible with my time, money, and grades, something that was so monumental to learn before college and my subsequent career started. There was also one class where the teacher taught and graded the class like a college course, which greatly gave me an idea of what was ahead in college. Then there was the several semesters of typing and computer applications, which gave me a huge head start on most of my college and coworkers, who couldn't even operate a Word or an Excel document.
