- I structured a company to be the most profitable division of a larger company. It put me in the driver's seat to force them to sell me the division. It was my goal and it was acheived as planned. Then I hired really good people and goofed off.
- Yup i planed it and it worked 4 years ago to this very day!!! I'm still doing it, altho its still working and bringing in loads of money i hate it.
- I originally helped out my Dad with buying his house. He died and the house was left to my sister and myself. Our original thought was that he would not have to pay rent any more. Our kindness gave back 600%. I am now investing that in another property that I know will double my profit in 3/4 years. So yes I have been successful but it was a good deed that came back well paid. No initial thought of profit.
- I started owning a pizza place (which I hated). Ending up shutting that down and going into advertising, which I absolutely love and am very successful . I think one of the keys in being successful in business is being truly passionate about what you're doing. There's definitely a difference in "doing a good job" and being "successful".
- There are only limited number of hours in a day, days in a week, etc. You can not achieve anything major without the right back up, team or organisation running with you. Things change, you and your organisation must change as well. Think about productivity all the time. It's all about money.
