what happens if i refuse to go into redeployment pool when my job is terminited do i not get any redundancy?

not gonna appeal as to why not got a job in new structure but want out of bad company ploys and unhonesty in process.They have offered and would expect all non successful candidates to go into redeployment pool what is legal stance if i choose not to. And yes I have union rep but begining to feel they are in coelusion with process as agreed to shake up/change? all urgent replies please my plight sos!

  1. As I understand it, an unreasonable rejection of suitable alternative employment may result in the employee losing their entitlement to a redundancy payment. As far as "unreasonable is concerned", any alternative post has to be suitable in terms of: • Location: in terms of additional daily travelling distances and length of travelling time. • Capacity; the employee’s qualifications and their ability to perform the duties and any additional training required. • Status: in terms of the proposed post, grade and position within the organisation. So if you're not going to have to spend extra time and money getting to the new job, if you're qualified to do it (or they're prepared to offer suitable training) and you're not going to be worse off in terms of pay, then you are expected to take what alternative employment is on offer.
