How do you negotiate pay and be successful?
How do you do it? I have always taken what was offered. I am not doing it anymore!

- When you ask for more money, be able to justify why. No one cares that you want more money or need more money. They are not in the business of charity. They want to know how you can help THEM. Explain that your previous experience has made you a more valuable asset to the company. Be confident in explaining to an employer how your specific skills will benefit the company. Stay cool, calm and confident. Measure your success not by how much more $ you get, but by the fact that you took the risk and promoted yourself in a confident and professional manner. Good luck!
