Why do liberals want to tell successful Americans how to manage their money?
I am a successful American, so naturally, liberals want to go after me and take my money from me and redistribute it to crappy programs like welfare, which is a form of slavery that liberals keep the poor under. I am also not going to pay for people who don't work to get health care. They could die and I will not feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for kids, but if their parents cared about them, they would work hard.

- They want it. It's what they call "economic justice".
- They do not want to tell you how to manage it, they want it to give to people who don't have it. That way they are the only rich people in the country.
- whoa. yet you will okay trillions of dollars for iraq. amazing. aren't we giving the iraqi's free healthcare? you would rather give a group of people across the globe tons of money, but not help out your own neighbor? wouldn't THAT be considered "UnAmerican?"
- Correct, but you're forgetting that liberals believe our money is theirs for the taken! http://theinternetassassin.com/
- Because that is what liberals do. Spend every body's money. All except their own money, which they keep for themselves. And then they call us Conservatives stupid. What a laugh.
- Liberals dont want to tell you how to manage your money. They simply want to spend your money.
- well, you are already doing the above because you pay taxes. and nice comment "They could die and I will not feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for kids, but if their parents cared about them, they would work hard." Some people work two jobs and still barely have enough money to get by. No matter what, you have to pay taxes, you pay them now, you have paid them in the past, and you will pay them in the future. It makes sense too that the wealthier you are, the more taxes you should pay. It would be good for you to someday lose all of your money and someone say something like what you said to you when you can barlely make ends meet.
- The same reason that we want to tell drug cartels how to handle their money. By the way...if you are such a successful business-person, how come you don't understand how unions work or realize that Regan was a union President? Aren't you actually just a teen posing as a successful person?
- I believe this is where the term, "bleeding heart liberal" originated. They feel badly for those less fortunate, no matter whose fault the lack of fortune is. It seems they don't trust those with wealth to share what they have, even though statistics prove otherwise. I feel that those who earn the fortune should retain the right to decide how those resources are used. On the other hand, there are situations when parents truly are unable to work- true physical or mental disability, mental illness, etc- and they and their children should not be punished for these conditions.
