I founded a successful nonprofit but now realize I am not an administrator. Small budget. How can we get help?
For several years I have been running a national nonprofit without much paid support. While I now receive a salary, I realize that I cannot be the administrator, spokesperson, accountant, etc., etc. My trying to do it all has actually kept us from doing the grantwriting that would allow us to hire an administrator. How do I break out of this circle?

- Do this on your own schedule and put the profits to work for you! http://executivehomebody.com
- Where is your board of directors in this decision? If you burnout and quit it would be their responsibility to step in. So include them in the problem solving or in recruiting board members that can help. They should also be part of a fund-raising and marketing effort. The main question is what role do you see yourself taking? That will determine what resources are need to be covered and what talents are needed. This will also help in prioritizing funding and a budget. If the budget is really small can the treasurer take on some of the bookkeeping? Again I come back to the board and their role as a non-profit really is owned by them. Good luck
- Please try to involve all the directors in the works of the organization, instead of taking everything on your shoulder . Results will flow !!
