How can I become successful in life?

I have to decide whether to go back to highschool or get my GED. Once I do that I dont know where to go from there. I want to make good money and live a comfortable life. College could be an option. What careers have stable income with this declining economy? I need any help you can give me.

1. become the CEO of an oil corporation. they are the only ones who are living comfy these days, and u would never have to worry, because no politicians are ever going to be ballsy enough to put a stop to it for THE PEOPLE.
2. If you want to achieve anything in life you have to work at it. and if its a specific thing you have yearned for research into it deeply and try different methods to find what is suitable for you.and put your mind to it,read a great deal on that subject(s).
3. It depends on what reference you use to determine/measure success. Do you wish to be happy? The find something you really enjoy doing, then do it as best as you can. Do you feel success means making a lot of money and having lots of things? Then, sadly, you may be on the road to unhappiness and stress. If you are unsure of what you'd like to do, you may wish to consider serving your country in one of the armed forces. The training is the best. The areas of "study" or specialization are almost innumerable. The opportunities are nearly endless, and the experiences are life-enhancing and will stay with you for the rest of your life. The benefits are fantastic and you can actually get into programs where college money can be made available to you for your after-military education. You can also go to college while in the service. Try talking to the recruiters that service your area. It can't hurt. (I favor the US Navy's Submarine Service myself...but then again...I'm prejudiced!). Just remember, in the long run, happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have. Good luck!
4. i think we would all like to know that answer. lol but what ever it is sad to say you dont really need ur g.e.d or college diploma to make good money you just have to love what you do and be good at it. Im a hair stylist and i love it and i know im going to be rich successful one day. Get into a Carrer that technology cant take over it like culinary School becuase Computers will never be able to cook you food at a resturant or computers cant ever cut ur hair! and you will always need those two things in your life.
