  3. I believe that one of the good key to be a successful life insurance agent is to show rapport to your customer. Through this strategy your certain customer may possibly refer you a friend of her/him to get an insurance in your company. Be productive and creative when it comes to selling. Speak clearly and be sure that you are really familiar and has a good knowledge in insurance. Explore in bank industry and set an appointment to the right person who is in charged in loans department. Give them a good deal so that you may start a good business.

  5. A big part would be to work for a company with a good reputation, I wouldn't try to make your own or something , people will just assume you are there to rip them off, insurance agents have that stigma
  6. Tactful persistance! It is a v ery difficult industry as you are dealing with individuals who are financially covering their life. A lot of clients (the ones with money) can take up to a year or more to know you well enough to give you their business. I suggest a referral based business plan...always treat your clients well and they will refer you to their friends, clients, family or co-workers. Good luck!!!
  7. Don't screw people, and don't be a jerk to the underwriters who can't provide coverage to your clients. :) Hate those guys...
