  4. Because that is the American Way. I am successful not because of the money I make, but how I make my money. My focus is on my clients and how I do my job. The checks take care of themselves.
  5. just looking at council flat people keeps me motivated
  6. For one thing, success is defined individually. So people generally do what they can to get what they want. Wants are influenced by individual thoughts, experiences, education, and alot of other variables. What keeps me motivated? What I want...and what I don't want.
  7. its my parents, we're not well off, and yet my life os off one who's priveliged. what i'm trying to say, is that my parents work so hard, made so many sacrifices and have faith in me to do well. even though i can work a lot harder, i guess i work as hard as i do, through guilt. but seriously i want to be sucessfull to make them proud, so their efforts aren't in vain, and well it can't hurt, can it?
  8. I always set goals in my life that I know are high. But then when I do reach out and really go for them and then finally accomplish them it makes me feel really good. It builds up my self esteem and self worth. It gives me more motivation to work harder and do better. Never settle for where you are at. I am perfectly happy with my life but am always seeking to improve either my business or something personally. Through the years it has provided with not only self worth, self esteem and some of the finer things in life, but also taught me that if you want something and fight hard enough for it. You'll get it. I use past successes to motivate me. Always reach upwards, never go backwords. If you slip and fall, pick yourself back up, repair any damages and learn from your lesson. Move forward and just keep going!! Good luck in the future!!!
  9. Life keeps me motivated. I know that I am here for a reason. Financial Success is what we all want but in reality we can achieve success in many ways. So every day I make it a point to recognize all of my achievements as successes.
  10. you have to keep focus make sure u love what u dont ever settle for less dream big always have a plan b a plan c would'nt hurt either lol what keep me motivated is knowing that god keeps waking me up and keep my mindset on my goals plus write your goals down and look at them every chance u get think about what u about to do 5 minutes from now then 5 days from now then 5 months from now then 5 years from now
  11. what does being successful mean? to me it means that you have accomplished something that is hard to do. it means you are good at what you are successful in. it means that you are happy at what you do. the wanting to be happy is why i strive to be successful. everyone has problems and if you can lessen your problems by being successful in different areas in your life then that is also a motivation.
  12. I can't imagine there's anyone who doesn't want to be successful in life; we just all tend to define success a little differently. If you lose motivation, it may be that your definition of success is changing. As for me; I want to make the lives of those I love a little bit better by my actions and I want to teach and write in a way that adds something significant - however small - to my field. Why? I try to set goals for myself that seem possible to achieve; I believe that even a small influence can ripple outwards, and I've chosen a field in which I can use my greatest strengths. Losing motivation is not an issue, but sometimes I lose hope; however, I have no choice but to keep trying. Anything else would be a sort of living death, I think...
  13. You have to have a goal. That goal has to be so important that you can discard short term gratification for long term happiness.
