What kind of people are successful in life?

I work hard to get good grades in university. Some of my friends don't study too much, if not, at all and they get the same grades as I. Which of the two are the most successful in life?

4. you will be a most successful in life. Always belive in yourself. You are a hard working person , you knowledge is pure.
5. Lucky people like your friends who just naturally are successful, then there are people who make their own luck, then theres the ones who work hard and don't belive in luck, just getting it done. All kinds of people can be succesful. Remember, its what WE DECIDE to be that counts, rather than what we actually are. Cause if we all just "bleh"ed and just existed, we'd go no where fast.
