Is there a site on the web that offers complete marriage records for free?

if you could give the link that would be really helpful as well. first great answer gets the 10 points so hurry!

  3. No. Some US Gen Web sites have some records for some counties. Free BMD has some in the UK. Ancestry has some, but they are by subscription. Most of them are just indexes. The LDS site already mentioned, RWWC and hundreds of thousands of other free genealogy sites mention marriage dates and places for specific people. The Preble County, Ohio public library has some complete marriage records on-line for free, if you want to see what a marriage record looked like in 1902. By "complete" did you mean a world-wide list of all the marriages from 1200 - 2008, for every country, all translated into English? Or, did you want to see a marriage certificate, instead of reading an index of marriages? Without a time frame and a country (state / province and county / shire would be even better) we can't really help you.
