Success Happy

How many times in your life have you ever greeted Jesus a happy birthday on christmas day?

We are sending christmas greetings to everyone but seldom i've known of someone greeting Jesus a happy birthday on christmas day. Are we missing something here? NOTE: Non-believers need not answer.

  1. Honestly? Never. Why? First December 25 was the day that the Romans worshipped the Persian Sun-God Mithras and the Saturnalia. The Catholic Pope Liberius in about 354 AD decided that Catholics should celebrate Jesus' birth on the same day (a compromise date so pagans would want to join in). Most protestants later continued the practice although the first Puritans in America banned Christmas because they recognized its many pagan roots. Jesus died at the age of 33-1/2 in late March, or early April. The 1/2 year would put his birth in the fall--early October. The real problem is this: Imagine if your wife had cheated on you with some other man but you forgave her. Then, later in the year she said she wanted to celebrate your birthday on HIS birthday. HIS BIRTHDAY? You would be upset and ask her why on HIS BIRTHDAY? and she would say, it doesn't matter that its on HIS birthday. I doubt you would feel like she was honoring you on HIS day--you'd want nothing to do with that other man. How do you think Jesus feels? When we mix ANY Satanic pagan practices existing now or in the past with his truth, its like cheating on him. Check out these thoughts in your own Bible: 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 and Galations 5:9--"A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough." just as a tiny hair in your glass of water ruins it. I don't want to hurt or upset my lord and savior.
