How can you tell if someones really happy?

What are some attributes that you have found in someone that you know is a genuinly happy person? People can act happy on the outside, but what makes you know that it's real and not just an act?

1. You can never truly tell unless they disclose it to you.
2. Happiness or true fulfillment can only come from god and living the life that god wants us to live. The world , the flesh... it is passing and holds little value despite its percieved benefits of bringing happiness. Joy or true joy is spiritual and divine... and it is derived from living a good, sober and grateful life. Some people have very little of materials in this life, but have great joy. Others have abundance and find no joy.
3. Simple answer you can't. One way to find out is to talk to the person, in causual settings and different environments being close with a person is the only way to get them to trust you and let you learn about the real them. I think I have known a couple of truly happy people, but I have also known many people who first appeared happy but as I spent more time with them in other settings I realized they were not. And personally plenty of people think I am very happy person, even when I am miserable.
4. you can't really tell, but a good giveaway is when their smile goes to their eyes. like their eyes look bright and they kind of squint because their smile is pushing the rest of their face up. that's what i look for. but if you can't tell and you feel like their not really happy you're probably right. if your gut tells you something and you don't have any evidence to support it, it's probably right.
5. I know when my hound "Buster" is happy, but i don't think you can really tell what's going on inside someone else's gord. You can observe from a distance and watch a person interact with others, usually a good indicator. habits ie. overeating, smoking,drinking,dope . usually not happy folk. people I know with a good balance in their lives seem to me to be the happiest. Folks who give of their time to others.
6. It appears usually in their voices, and if you look at their faces you'll see eyes shining.
7. Really happy person tells you openly: I am really happy person. You can trust him or her.
