How come some people seem to be jealous of your success and not jealous of the success of others ?
Over the years I have managed to be successful at my work, and so far with my family. Without doubt, although I am generous and genuinly encouraging with my friends, I attract some nasty back biting jealousy, which can be very painful and damaging (maliscious gossip). However, I can't help but notice that these same oddballs (as I start to see them) are unusually creepy to people who have had equal success as me, but are flashy and tight fisted. Anybody experienced this?

- probably because they (rightly or wrongly) see themselves as good as or better than you, so they think they deserve the same success. the problem with people thinking they deserve success is often they don't it, it drives them into jealousy and other destructive personality traits
- because ur obviously better than the other ones. it's a form of flattery, they wish they could be like you. if someone hates u that's because they want to be just like you!
