Is moderation in all things one of the main keys to a successful life?
I hope you have a nice day and a Happy New Year, and thanks for answering my question.

- Moderation probably is the key, but I think sometimes some full-out passion is a good thing.
- Yes, I believe it is. Excess in anything seldom ends well.
- one of the main keys yes. some thinkers also advice to be sometimes careful of moderation itself.
- If you read the current Malcolm Gladwell book, Outliers, you might conclude that obsession is the key to success- at least in the career sense. He believes that it takes 10,000 hours for us to master any subject. That`s a lot of hours but its supposedly the key to the early success of Bill Gates and any one else who becomes a major player in one demanding field. Moderation and passion do not go together- and we could all use more passion in our lives.
- Yes, moderation is one of the highest of unsung virtues. Extremes always get us into trouble and unhappiness. Whether in finance or love moderation wins the day. mek
- Jesus thought otherwise, and so do I. 15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
- Wish you too a very Happy New Year!! I think moderation in all things is a key to a happy or contented life. Success is more demanding than what moderation can deliver, especially in the present highly competitive environment.
