How do I become a happy go lucky person?

Because im usually feeling stressed and depressed and tired because I just had a few major friend problems at school... And I want to change I want to be happy-go-lucky person a person who is always relaxed,happy,cheerful.

  1. You must learn acceptance of things as they are, not as you would have them.This requires years of discipline practiced on a daily basis.Even saints have emotions- the key is not to let your emotions make your decisions.
  2. All hostile people are mentally disturbed [inferiority complex, jealousy, etc]. Ostracize all hostile people immediately and permanently!
  3. You may not naturally be that type of personality but you can certainly change. The best way to change is doing something differently. If we do the same thing and expect the same results that is considered to be insanity. Fill your life up with positive feedback, music, t.v./movies, friends, family etc... That is a good start. What we think about and concentrate upon the most generally has the most power over us in our lives. If you are carrying any baggage from the past now is the time to deal with it and let it go. Dont be afraid of change... try a support group or something or some counseling ( i think all of us could use some of that). If that isnt an issue try another new activity that will inspire you. If you've always longed to join a sport or write a book or etc... do it. Dont let fear or anything else stop you (in a healthy way)! goodluck

  5. wow i definitly feel for u :/ ive been there and one thing that helped me is God. I kno this seems sooo corny and i was actually an atheist a couple months ago. but really just sit down and meditate,pray. it really centers u and u start to feel like ur not so alone in this world. when i accepted god i immediately felt a huge burden lift off my shoulders. i guess its a matter of trust that u dont have to control things and they're really in his hands. a quote i live by is : whatever is meant to be will always find its way. i think if u realize this u will become a happier person..im trying to take my own advice as well :p
  6. Nobody can always be happy. However, you can always be happiER =) here are some tips: You may just be unhappy because you have a lot of stressed stored up, as you mentioned. If you feel like crying, don't hold it in. Letting it out feels a lot better. Your friend problems will also get better. These things happen in school, that's why adults joke that they would never want to go through that junior high/high school relationship turmoil again. Just try meeting new people, strike up conversations. (I know it's hard if you're shy, I am =) but it never hurts to do it anyway. Finally, just try to focus on the positive. Get in the habit of remembering the good and brushing off the bad feelings. Showers also help reduce stress =) Good luck!!!!!!
