What does it take to be successful in life?

What conditions make success easier or harder? How can you tell when you've become successful? Angela, Shut up and quit trying to respond with your dumbest answers just to get points. Get a life, Atleast I'm doing something that revolves SCHOOL not like you, telling others what to do.

1. I think success is in the eye of the beholder. Some people that have very little material things in life feel very very successful, others believe that they need to have money and power to be successful. I personally believe that it is a mix of the two.
2. Figure what it is you like to do, and do it well, to the absolute best of your abilities. You should be proud and so will those around you. THAT is success!
3. Success is different to each person, you need to figure out what is important in your own life and create goals based around your own personal values! Most people tend to think of success in monetary terms, as in financial success. To achieve this a good education is usually key. Some measure success based off of awards or achievements, while others measure it as overall happyness in life or having great love and family/friends. You will know when you have reached your own definition of success.
4. The question is important, but the answer usually changes as a person grows older.
5. Money. People will tell you it's more important to be happy, or to have a family, or whatever. Those people have never gone hungry. Never been the poor kid in class. Never had the heat shut off because Dad couldn't be bothered to pay the bills. Economic recession, constant war, and Republicans in the government make success harder. You can tell you've become successful when you can AFFORD a family, when you can smile happily at the end of the month because all your bills are paid and you have no creditors knocking on your door.
6. Pay attention in school and don't ask people on yahoo to do your homework!
7. Success takes, ingenuity, perseverance, and tenacity. Success is easier when you have a leg up on the competition. There is always a competition. Having the way pre-paved helps. Having a strike against you can make success harder. Not having the necessary tools for success can make things harder. Tools can include connections, education, and money.
8. Hi Rudy yum yum, To become successful you should at least have your life planned out a little. For example, like what you want to do after high school,etc. School is probably your main priority to become successful in life, that shows people that you're smart and you know what you're doing and your passionate about your work. How do you know when you're successful? When you're happy and when you're living in the hamptons! ahaaha
