Success Happy

What's the TV station that wishes kids Happy Birthday if you send in the info?

I think it may have been a local thing (in Toronto?). I remember it being in the mornings and they would hold up a card or drawing or picture (whatever the viewer sent in with the info) and wish Happy Birthday to that person from whoever. I think y'all get the idea right? Anyway, anyone remember what station it was?

  1. your local news channel. the local newspaper should be fun for them too
  2. They do it on TVO Kids and CBC kids. Check the website for the details
  3. noggin.com
  4. Im betting the one youre looking for is "PBS Kids Sprout". Both of my kiddies love that one and it does the daily birthday wishes, and if your child is picked, they also get a free seed pot in the mail to "grow with them". LOL..good luck!
  5. on radio Disney they have shout outs and on some news shows and on noggin
  6. Probably PBS kids!
  7. The local news. There is a radio station called Radio Disney that you can give birthday shout-outs. I've done it for my son's seventh birthday.
  8. KET or PBS depending on where you live.
  9. PBS Sprout does it Try sproutletsgrow.com I don't know if they're in your area. Check it out
  10. CBC Kids does it (my kids watched it this morning) http://www.cbc.ca/kidscbc/ I seem to remember that TVO did that as well when we lived in Ontario.
  11. Yes, definately PBS Sprout - but just because you send a card doesn't necessarily mean his/her name will get read. Our station - channel 8 - does 'birthdays on the 8' and anyone with a birthday with an 8 -- 8, 18, 28, etc - will have a pic and short info. We also have a local radio station that has a community 'bulletin board' that wishes people birthdays and anniversaries.
  12. It's on Noggin! Great channel. www.noggin.com
