My IM shows my sister's ID not mine. How do I get my name on the line with the happy face?

I get my Yahoo mail notification as I should; and I've deleted all contacts (including her) but my name still does not appear where I believe the user ID should show up. Do I have to delete my Yahoo! Messenger and download another? Will I have to get a new ID? How do I delete my Yahoo! Messenger and still maintain my own ID? Right now I just don't use the IM for anything but a mail notifier. Thanx for any help!
