Does anyone know of any successful relationships between a muslim man and a christian woman?
Or any unsuccessful ones.... Tell me about them... Where were the issues? How were they sorted out? Mom Of 2: so what faith did you end up being? Did you find it confusing when you were growing up?

- I know of one couple. The issues were difference of religion. It was sorted out because she converted to Islam.
- My Christian cousin married an Ethiopian Muslim. They love each other very much, but they faced some problems. Most of his family refused to come to the wedding (which was non-religious in every way). They currently don't celebrate many religious holidays together, but they seem to be happy.
- I would say it depends on the devotion to the religion! So could a non practicing muslim marry a non practicing christian and have it work YES. BUT could a devout Muslim and a devout Christian work NO!
- It only seems to work when neither are completely committed to their faith...I rarely hear of a Muslim male converting to Christianity. It is usually a Christian female that ends up converting to Islam.
- yup... she had to convert, he was also very controlling. Apparently, it's quite common for the muslim men to marry christian and other women (b/c it is assumed that the woman will convert) but the muslim women are not allowed to marry anything but a muslim.
- Personally i don't know of any. But I think it would depend on the depth of his faith and hers. If they are both really strong in their faiths then they would truly have too many differences. But if they consider themselves that faith but don't really abide by all of the guidelines of that faith then I am sure they could work. Especially for the man being muslim since they have a lot of ideas as to what a woman should and shouldn't do that a christian girl would not want to live up to those set standards. Good luck
- I dated a muslim guy once. He cried after I gave him a hand job. It was all very weird. Food was good though.
- Once you've known the delights of Jesus in your heart you could never marry somebody who is in spiritual darkness, God says do not be unequally yoked and what has light got to do with darkness? In your soul you will be miserable, Jesus is everything. I have travelled to muslem countries, Christians are persecuted. My 48 y.o. pastor was shot to death, along with the other pastors.
- I don't have any direct experience with Muslim and Christian but my parents are interfaith He is Jewish she is Christian. As long as you respects each others beliefs it can work. Respect is the key.
- Well it depends, some have worked because one of the two convert but that is something different. Well sometimes if they are together a lot of the friends of both involved with not agree and think they should be with someone like them but you can not control who you love. Things that come up are later is the muslim man would want a conversion maybe not for his wife but for any kids they may have. Not always though. If you have a muslim and christian couple you have to think too are they following their faith? Or are they fallen away and that is just their faith they were born into and raised on? I have seen a few fail because they did not talk about certain issues like kids, schools, and what language they would speak but then their are others where they both keep their faiths and they love each other to be a family and teach both. It all depends of the two people to be honest. If you like them do not think about what they practice think of who they are. There are bad people and good people in every faith. No one else matters but the 2 in the relationshipp.
- My aunt and uncle. They have been married for 12 years. They respect each others religon and both partisapate in each others holiday. But in our family his being muslim was never an issue. They fight about regular stuff all couples fight about and then they work it out. Your relationship can work you just need to have respct and balence.
- Yes, Osama's wife. But he ended up blowing her up after she refused sex.
