Why don't successful people attempt to share their knowledge with others?

I am not saying they all don't, but you don't see as many successful people sharing as one would think. Does it empower rich successful people to NOT divulge thier scecret to success?

3. because they dont want to feel threatened by others or feel less successful by sharing what info they do have with people that are a little less bright. sometimes it can make someone feel like they are going out of their way just to do something that simple when in all actuality they could be helping not only that person but several others as well.
4. maybe its not easy to explain. they dont want to share the wealth? no maybe they just dont know how to explain it. i think "successful" people kinda fall into it.
5. They don't share their knowledge because they'r afraid that all of their success will go away with that little bit of info they'v given out! By their reasoning if other people knew what they knew, then there would be more competion than they could handle and all of this competition would just complicate their lives further,which is the last thing they want!!! heaven-forbid a common street person should come with the ideas they've been churning out all of these years!@!!!?
6. No one has shared with them before they became rich and it's a cycle. Furthermore, successful people spend all of their time to learn more and make more money so they don't have much time for other people.

8. well the answer is quite simple actually-the fact that u have found a way to be better,and its unique and no one knows it,triggers a feeling of overwhelming the others,feeling superior. everyone likes that feeling,so it's no wonder people dont like to share their success. A miss America would never tell her compete the magic formula to the prefect hair day-its just human competition.weve got it in ourselves.

10. I believe the truly successful know that it is an individuals effort that makes one successful and not a formula. Just as the guru or sensei can guide you to enlightenment or martial arts perfection, the monetarily successful person can only guide you in the same way. There are no formulas for reaching higher levels of enlightenment or success. The path must be explored alone and found by oneself. You will be tested by fire and will either pass or fail. It will be your own decision to step into the flames or avoid them. And the outcome will be entirely your own doing.
