Although Norm Coleman has been considered a weak GOPer, Al's campaign has bad word of mouth. Funny back in his days as part of Franken & Davis on SNL, he got good publicity with his stab at political book/satire. His radio run tanked, and looks like this run will as well.

OK, so Franken isn't getting any traction right now. Granted he's no Jesse Ventura. He's uncomfortable with glib answers to complex questions and lying through his teeth, while most political incumbents have mastered this art. So cut him some slack until he gets his political sea legs under him. Ultimately, he will be as successful as Keith Olbermann has been at taking on the frothing ultra-conservative fascista and their fellow traveler neo-con clowns. Honk! Honk!
You know, I'm not an Al Franken fan, and I do not believe in his Politics, but.. I have been in Mosul Iraq for 4 1/2 years. Al Franken came here on a USO tour to entertain the troops. I am a Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh fan, but I haven't seen either of them over here. Even though I typically do not agree with Franken or his politics, I do appreciate his Upstanding character. Al Franken is ok in my book...
