Success Happy

Would you vote for a candidate that wasn't financially successful?

Isn't success what we want in the White house?

  1. We cannot afford a loser in the White House. We have enough of them in the Congress.
  2. Yes I would...I'd feel that he knows how the "real" people live.
  3. Yes, Nixon. Nixon was not financially successful and we voted for him. He was a great president, like our President Bush!!!
  4. yes i would vote for denis kucinich
  5. since the majority of the american people are not as financially well off as mccain i'd vote for someone that represented the majority of the citizens. it hink they'd be more in touch with the needs and problems of the people.
  6. John McCain married into money, so he's not technically as financially successful as Obama.
  7. I wouldn't. If someone can't handle their own finances and benefit, imagine them controlling the country's. I'm proud of McCain owning all those investment houses. Him and his wife are living the American dream. That's what this country is all about.
  8. Since McCain married into wealth, wouldn't this argument be more for his wife? Last I checked Cindy McCain isn't running for President.
  9. McCain is not financially successful. He was a slime that dumped his first wife and then married into money with Cindy.
  10. apparently to obamanations think that only atheletes, entertainers and drug dealers should be the only wealthy succesful ppl. god forbid we have business ppl that are wealthy.
  11. Some people have devoted their lives to public service. That, in and of itself, is not a path to financial success. Such an individual may have good ideas and actually care about what happens to ordinary people.
  12. Financial success is unimportant to me. I've gone from poor (slept on a parkbench one night) to rich ($100k+ income) and back down to middle-class one income family household. It's irrelevant when it comes to character, with the exception that financial success can be a symptom of greed.
  13. I'd rather not have someone in the White House that became financially successful only through divorcing his wife (after cheating on her) and marrying a rich bimbo with a drug habit that steals from charities. In other words, I'd rather not have John McCain and his mistress sugar momma in the White House.
  14. Using that logic, you would not have voted for Abraham Lincoln or Harry Truman. Both men had unsuccessful careers until they come to politics.
