2. For the whole state of Karnataka in one place? No. The process is like this. The Registrar of Assurances (who we comonly call Registrar) who endorses registration of property purchases is also the officiating registrar who performs and records marriages. Every district (revenue district and not geographical district we see in the maps) has one offciating registrar. In the Office of the Registrar concerned a Register is maintained in which both the boy and the girl sign when their marriage is registered in front of the Registrar. If you roughly know where one would have got married you can approach the Registrar and apply for a copy of the registration. You have to apply officially and pay the fee. You will be given an Extract of the relevant page of the registration. However, with computerisation there might be a central office in the State capital where all details MAY be available, provided all the registrars offices are linked in through the Net and data has been keyed in at the central office. Doubtful. I am not sure whether all marriage regn., details are centralized statewise.
