Why did this guy only reply to me on facebook when i wished him a happy birthday?

okay well yesterday was this guys birthday and he got alot of facebook comments wishing him a happy birthday and i went on his facebook today and the only person he replyed to was me! it was kinda creepy and i went on other peoples profiles to check just to see if he like deleted that he replyed and he didnt, i was like what the hell haha.
