How do you make a happy face on the computer?

Well...I'm not that dumb I know how to do smiles like =D =) :) =] ect.... But I like doin' smile faces like this: Ü (Alt 666) but is there a smile like that but a sad face? Please answer if you know. ÜÜ

1. :-) many applications will convert this into a proper smile
2. ☺ alt 1 makes a smiley you can continue to push alt and then a # such as 2, 3, 4 and so on to get different smiles
