What is the symbol of success to you personally?

5. I don't think it's pure money! It would be whatever the person values in themselves. For me, I'm a writer, so it would be what I have completed and how happy I am with how it turned out. Not if someone bought it and printed it... read it... etc. but how happy I am with it. If it was the best I could make it at the time... I think that is why people are unhappy... they think money is the end all and be all in their life. If it was there would be no alcoholics or drug addicts or unhappy rich people, especially in Hollywood....
6. happiness...i don't mean having lots of stuff...I mean true, inner happiness, Aristotle style.
7. Most people believe the symbol of success is Money, Power, and a big house and fancy car. These things are nice to have, but I have known many a people that fit this stereotype that society has placed on success, and they never seem to be happy. Me on the other hand, give me a rod and reel, let me go fishing and drink my beer!!!! Now that is success. Being able to do as you please regardless of your social or economic status is the definition of success.
8. being able to do the things that i've wanted to do and raising my kids to be the best person they can be =) well money would help a lot but it wouldn't measure success to me!!! =)

SUCCESS is a journey Not a Destination Success is different for everybody! some people are raised with the thought that success is how much money you have (i feel sorry for those people). and others success isn’t what you do but how you do it. But for me, success is simply doing the right thing, in any case, at any time. Some people look at the “right thing to do” from a business aspect, some from a religious aspect, and some from just what they believe. If you are happy and satisfied with what you are doing or how you are doing it. you are successful.
12. There is no "thing" or "object" which i would describe as success. Success is simply the attempt to achieve what you value most in life. For me, its learning, cutting off those around me who are incapable of reason, and doing exactly what i believe in. If that means pain and suffering as a consequence, i will do it.
