Why did Fonzie grow so dependent on the Cunninghams in Happy Days?
Public Comments
- Because he came out of the closet.
- Because they made him feel welcome and loved
- Because he's lazy? I dunno I'm just guessing because I don't know what you're talking about :P
- To keep his inflatable ego inflated
- Because they loved and accepted him in spite of his "bad boy" ways. Plus: Marion could really cook!
- He just wanted to have a family. Plus, I think there was some chemistry going on between the Fonz and Mrs. Cunningham.
- he had to say "eeehhh"
- I think we all know about the special relationship he had with "Mrs. C". The Fonz ruled the younger women, but was a slave to the charms of the MILF downstairs. Go figure.
- I had the idea that he didn't have a family of his own except for his nephew. He was like adding spice to an otherwise dull family.
- Because is Fonzie!
- because they took him in, let him bang girls in their over-garage apartment(Shh.don't tell Mrs. C), and they were his surrogate family. EEEeyyyyy!
- Hmm... I noticed the same thing about Hyde in That 70's Show. Maybe the un-nurtured side wanted some loving?
- Well. Why Do You Think he did?
- Freeloader.
- Because Fonzie never had a family or a home EDIT- "The MILF downstairs" lmfao XD
- It was a way to see if Fonzie would be able to stand up on his own and his own show and still get the ratings.
