- intelligence secrecy definetly not carelessness patientce in planning and perfection on the job not to mention percision if your picking locks
- Not much really since most criminals are psychopaths or have mental / emotional problems they do stuff wrong and are sloppy. People who are pretty smart and commit crimes sometimes / often get away with it if they are smarter than the police... Which means they are smart enough to avoid using hostages, car chases ect.. They run in and out without seeing a cop... Look at some of the successful bank robberies you can definetly tell the difference between those and unsuccessful ones...
- Caution Intelligence Stealth Secrecy An alibi And you have to be skilled at whatever you are doing. Different criminal activities require different traits.
- extreme cautious behavior -great organization -a really kick *** plan -intelligence but you dont have to be einstien -stealth is one but you could go on to say that keeping yourself forgettable is important too.. In the chance that you do run into someone keeping the encounter so that they have nothing to remember you by. -serious attention to details -being innovative is good as well (im thinking of robberies here) but coming up with something that hasnt been done before -patience is a good one as well.. but i think thats not rushing the crime to take place also -Research! (again with a robbery thats why stake-outs and developing floor plans and getting to know everyones schedule is important) -secrecy is important too.. you cant tell everyone how smart and great you are and how awesome your plan is.. -fairly good memory -you really have to wait until you have everything together and in place before you commit a crime.. I think most crimes fail because they are rushed and not well researched or thought out a good criminal doesnt need an alibi because a good criminial doesnt get caught or have any plans to and that includes backup plans which is what the alibi would be. A good criminal thinks ahead, knows people and their behaviors and uses that to their advantage. They wouldnt need an alibi because there wouldnt be any evidence it was them in the first place. A decent criminal needs an alibi... a good one would never have to use it. A good house robber wouldnt rob the house the first night he got into it. He would do a walkthrough and get a feel for the place. He would know who lived ther and the pets and what kind of sleepers these people are and which door makes the most noise or which window and where the floor creaks the most, how long theyd been sleeping for etc. Its compiling a ton of different information into one plan. I could go on but I will stop. Feel free to message me if you wanted to know more..
- It appears that the folks here don't know the difference between a criminal and a criminalist. The single most important trait for a criminalist is the ability to live on a very low salary because it's a field that does not pay well at all.
