3. My estimation would be Petroleum Engineering. If you are willing to travel the world, for example Saudi Arabia, the money tops anything here. Your pay is performance oriented. Consulting, training, geological, geophysical, reservoir evaluation, project management and training. Heavy oil, upstream oil and gas, drill string design, drilling fluids, cementing, wellheads, testing, and completion of vertical and horizontal oil and high pressure deep gas wells, so on.
4. I've heard the computer-hardware engineers generally have an average of a 6 digit income from government income statistics. Bio-medical engineers make quite a bit as well but the schooling is quite difficult, at my college you get kicked out of the bio-medical engineering department if your GPA drops below a 3.6. It's also generally considered that mechanical an civil engineering have the lowest average pay.
